Joint Investment to Build Kenya’s First-class Level 6 Hospital with Local Partners
During the fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, the "China (Chongqing)-Africa Investment & Trade Cooperation Symposium (June 12 2025)," hosted by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, was held at the Changsha International Conference Center. Wen Hua, Vice General Manager of VINCOBASE HEALTHCARE INTERNATIONAL, attended the meeting alongside Albert Mandela Ogendi, Chairman of Nairobi's Luton Hospital in Kenya.

During the economic and trade cooperation signing session,. Mr. Wen Hua, , represented the projects and signed an investment agreement for the "Luton Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya" project.

VINCOBASE plans to develop LUTON HOSPITAL into a Level 5 hospital in Kenya, and further invest to upgrade it to a Level 6 hospital. This will create a successful example of a "Chinese resources + localized operation" healthcare partnership in Kenya, thereby radiating and driving the East African healthcare market, and extending vertically into derivative businesses such as pharmaceutical and equipment distribution, telemedicine, and health insurance, building a regional healthcare ecosystem. Upon completion, LUTON HOSPITAL will become a healthcare hub for East Africa and a vital support for the medical security of the Chinese community in the region.

Roll out high-tech China-manufactured medical devices to deliver benefits to Kenyan communities.
VINCOBASE has actively built an Imaging Center and a Dialysis Center at Luton Hospital in Kenya, marking a significant boost to local healthcare capacity.
The newly established Dialysis Center is equipped with 10 hemodialysis machines, while the Imaging Center features essential diagnostic tools including one X-ray machine, one CT scanner, and one MRI machine. All medical equipment is manufactured in China, combining advanced technology with reliable performance.

Luton Hospital Team’s China Learning Visit
A group of medical staff from Luton Hospital in Kenya recently completed a professional visit to leading hospitals in China, accompanied by representatives from VINCOBASE. The visit focused on clinical practice sharing, technical exchanges, and observational learning, aiming to build stronger healthcare collaboration between the two sides. Guided by VINCOBASE, the team engaged with Chinese medical experts to discuss best practices in diagnostics, treatment, and hospital management, with a particular focus on the operation of Level 6 medical facilities.

This exchange marks another milestone in the partnership between Luton Hospital and VINCOBASE, following the joint establishment of the Imaging and Dialysis Centers at Luton Hospital. Both parties expressed confidence that the insights gained will further enhance the quality of care available to Kenyan patients.
